OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

OEE = Original Equipment Equivalent

Simply put, OEM is the glass made by the manufacturer of your vehicle while OEE is made by a different manufacturer. OEE glass still complies with the same requirements that are used by the manufacturer. Some customers prefer to use only parts built by the manufacturer of their vehicle. That’s perfectly fine! Give us a call or fill out the form and we will let you know what your options are.

Note: We ensure that any auto glass we use exceeds all federal safety standards.

However, some inspection stickers are not permitted by law to be re-applied. I recommend that you check with your local inspection agency if you have inspection stickers. Ask them if they can be moved or if you need to get a replacement.

Repairs usually take around half-an-hour while replacements can take up to an hour. In addition, you should not drive your vehicle for at least one hour after we have completed our service. This allows the adhesive to properly set.

Weather does affect the installation of a new windshield. If possible, you should provide shelter. We will ask about this when setting up your mobile installation appointment.

If the rear view mirror is attached to the windshield, then we will attach it to your new windshield.
